Galapagos Islands
Humboldt Explorer Live Aboard
Week 1: July 12-19, 2027, Week 2: July 19-26, 2027
This once in a lifetime adventure is perfect for anyone looking for a rush. The swift currents and chilly water temperatures bring in some of the most sought after creatures in the world. Hundreds of hammerheads, schools of manta rays, and (fingers crossed) some whale sharks, just to name a few!
“The sheer number of rare species is nothing short of incredible.”
Not only is there a ton to see below the water, but above the water as well! Land excursions will likely feature marine iguanas, penguins, blue footed boobies, and the famous tortoises that have inhabited The Galápagos Islands for millions of years.
The Humboldt Explorer does not typically make trips to Fernandina and Isabela to dive with the marine Iguanas and see the penguins, but this is a very special trip, booked far in advance, so the central coast group has an opportunity to see everything the Galapagos has to offer.
We will be lucky enough to be there when the penguins are typically nesting which (hopefully) means we will get to see some nestlings on our journey.
