The Diving
Diving in the Red Sea is an unforgettable experience, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and extraordinary marine life. From colorful reef fish and sea turtles to dramatic drop-offs and historic shipwrecks, the Red Sea offers world-class diving for both beginners and experienced divers.
Warm water, excellent visibility, and diverse underwater ecosystems make it one of the premier dive destinations on the planet.
Featured Dive
The SS Thistlegorm was a British merchant navy ship built in 1940 and used during World War II to transport military supplies. On the night of October 6, 1941, while anchored in the northern Red Sea awaiting passage through the Suez Canal, it was attacked by German bombers. Two bombs struck the ship, detonating the ammunition in its holds. The explosion split the vessel, and it sank to the seabed at a depth of about 98 feet.
The wreck remained undiscovered until the 1950s, when it was located by the pioneering French oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Although its location was later forgotten, recreational divers rediscovered it in the early 1990s, and it has since become one of the most celebrated wreck dives in the world.
The Boat
The Scuba Scene offers luxury dive safaris throughout Egypt's Red Sea, combining comfortable accommodations with access to some of the region's most iconic and remote dive sites. The 48.5-meter yacht accommodates up to 28 guests in above-water cabins with private bathrooms and air conditioning, and features a spacious dive deck, camera facilities, multiple sun decks, a pool, and a jacuzzi for relaxing between dives.
Requirements: All guests must bring a completed RSTC medical form if you are diving. A copy of your passport is required for park permits and excursion planning. Every diver must be advanced open water and/or deep specialty certified. Upon check-in, you will be asked to show proof of dive insurance (MANDATORY), RSTC medical, and your certification cards.

A full set of dive gear, including dive computer, is required for this trip. Don’t own your own dive gear yet? No problem, just rent it from Central Coast! Please let us know that you need rental equipment when you sign up for the trip.
